Florida Administrative Code Section 18-21.001 requires that a percentage of the gross income derived from any agreement or sub-agreement for the sale, rental, or other use of a Slip must be paid by the Slip holder to the Association, who must report and transmit such payment upon receipt to the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida. In addition, Section 212 of the Florida Statutes levies a tax of 6% on the sale and assignment of the license to a Slip, or the rental of a Slip. Such sales tax is to be remitted directly to the State of Florida by the person receiving such sale or rental revenue.
