Alico Arena
An athletic and entertainment venue with a capacity of 4,000 in its main gymnasium, plus function rooms, sky boxes, and a hospitality suite. Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
A 2 � mile boardwalk crosses over the distinct habitats of the Corkscrew Swamp, including a stand of old bald cypress that is the largest in North America. The National Audubon Society manage the Sanctuary, which is open to visitors.

Big Cypress National Preserve
Not far from Naples, in the Everglades, Big Cypress has a mixture of pines, hardwoods, prairies, mangrove forests, cypress strands and domes. White-tailed deer, bear and Florida panther can be found here along with the more tropical liguus tree snail, royal palm and cigar orchid. As a meeting place of temperate and tropical species, it is a hotbed of biological diversity. Visitors will enjoy a recreational paradise for camping, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and bird-watching. The elusive Florida panther has been spotted here as have endangered woodstorks.

Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park
A narrow thread of forested swamp called the Fakahatchee Strand winds through the Florida Everglades. It is vast wilderness mosaic of royal palm stands, cypress domes, and grassy prairies dotted with wild bromeliads, native ferns, and orchids. Florida panther, wood stork, Florida black bear, mangrove fox squirrel, and Everglades mink have all been seen within the preserve. Access to the preserve is limited, but visitors can see some areas by driving Janes Scenic Drive, an 11 mile unpaved, gravel road through a portion of the park.

Germain Arena
and across from the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University. It is home to the ECHL Florida Everblades ice hockey team ,the Florida Firecats Arena Football team and the Florida Flame, which plays in the National Basketball Development League. It also is the venue for numerous entertainment events, concerts and ice shows. It also offers public skating, hockey and figure skating on two additional rinks.

Rookery Bay National Estuarine
Research Reserve Located at the northern end of the Ten Thousand Islands on the gulf coast of Florida and not far from Naples, the reserve is one of few undisturbed mangrove estuaries remaining in North America.

Shy Wolf Educational Sanctuary
Licensed by both state and federal entities and is inspected on a regular basis, The Center is a refuge for a Jaguar-Leopard cross, several Cougars, numerous Wolves and Wolf-Hybrids. Also included a pair of Coyotes, Sugar Gliders, Fennec Foxes, three Prairie Dogs and even a Florida Gopher Tortoise named Sara. (In fact, this is one of the few places permitted to care for the threatened Florida Gopher Tortoise.) Small Private Tours as well as larger Group Tours may be arranged for a one-of-a-kind experience. Many of the animals that reside at Shy Wolf Sanctuary, Education and Experience Center, Inc., are very friendly and interact well with our visitors. Shy Wolf functions as a volunteer organization. Donations are welcomed.
